There are burgers, and there are BURGERS. And these BURGERS, you can find at Beach Side Burger. This recently opened restaurant in Kestel specialises – as the name already indicates – in hamburgers. Not to be confused with the defrosted, soggy hamburgers you find in fast food franchises. These burgers are the real thing.
Beach Side Burger is a colourful, homey place near the sea. The place is run by owner Daniel Kuru and his mother Karin Kuru. On the menu, you will find burgers with names like Oriental, Double Double, Cricket and Hangover.
Owner Daniel, emphasises that the food is always freshly prepared. All the hamburgers are made from scratch using carefully selected meat. The brioche buns are baked in the restaurant’s oven from Daniels own recipe and nothing, but crisp ingredients are used to complete the dish.
We choose the ‘Hangover’, the plentiful burger topped with cheddar cheese and BSB dressing, also the ‘Oriental’ with feta cheese, sundried tomatoes and aubergine.
They were DELICIOUS.
